Airplane Configurator
The Idea:
In this solo project we were tasked with making our own configurator.
I choose to make an airplane configurator, with the options to change between different plane and to change the color on different parts of the plane.

What I did in this project:
In this project I decided to learn and use variant manager to create my configurator.
I imported planes from turbos quid, I had to go into the planes in the programs they were made in to join all parts that to the group I wanted to change, so all the parts of the body and make in as one, and so on. I then imported the parts to unreal engine and opened a blueprint where I dragged both planes in to and sized them to about the same size.
I added categories and subcategories in variant manager and then added them in to the graph menu in the UI widget and connected them to the respective button in the UI widget.
I then proceeded to animate the menus so that they are not always visible.
Improvements:
I would like to be able to change some of the meshes, like you can put on different kind of wings and so on.
