Custom Shader
The idea:
In this solo project we were to make a custom shader in unreal engine.

What I did:
In this project I wanted to learn and use the particle system Niagara, so I choose to build my project a little bit around that.
I made a first-person custom shader, I started by making a lightning bolt in blender and changed the original bullet in the first-person template to my bolt, I made a nice material for the bolt then built that into the Niagara system to make it flash when you pull the trigger.
Then I made a lightning charge in blender and built that into the Niagara system as well and made it so that when the bolt hit the statue it will explode and make the lightning charge visible.
I also made a slow-motion feature were if I press ‘1’ it will slow everything down and as a extra feature I made it so that the longer you are in runtime, frost will show on the screen and become more intense the longer you are in runtime.
